Vacation Bible School - July 14-18 - Rainforest Adventure!

Mission/Vision Task Force Meetings - Please join us for small group meetings during July and August.  We will share ideas, reflect on important scripture, listen and pray together.  Sign up in the Narthex for any of the 3-part groups scheduled:

- Sundays (7/20 and 7/27) from 9:15-10:45 a.m. at UCP
- Sundays (7/20, 7/27 and 8/3) from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at UCP
- Tuesdays (7/22 and 7/29) from 7:30-9:00 p.m. at Traunero's
- Thursdays (7/24, 7/31 and TBD) from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Bill Young's

Take Me Out to the Ball Game! - July 30 - Join UCP friends at a ball game in Woodbridge to see the Potomac Nationals (who are affiliated with the Washington Nationals) play Wilmington. The stadium opens at 6 p.m., the game starts at 7:05, and the $12 ticket price includes all the food you can eat, so you can bring your teen-agers and fill them up! The menu includes hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, burritos and a Bob Evans’ special of the week, such as barbeque. We’ll go in our own cars, preferably carpooling, parking is $4 a car.  If we have 20 people or more, we will also have a welcome to UCP announced on the scoreboard and over the public address system!  Contact Jim Vollmer for reservations at nwvollmer@yahoo.com or 703-860-8587.

Worship Services in August - There will be only one service, at 10:00 a.m., so please mark your calendars!

Family Camp - August 3-9 at Bethany Beach!.  Family camps have just the right mix of program, scheduled activities and free time for everybody.  Please join us fellow UCP parishioners for a week at the beach.  Contact John Melnick for details!

WITS Beach Retreat - October 3-5 at the Christian Conference Center in Bethany Beach.  Additional details are posted in the Narthex.
